Pictures

Thought I would share a few pictures of our last days with our baby. Kade couldn't stop taking pictures of him. He said he "didn't want to forget him". We love him dearly, and don't want people to forget the beautiful face they are fighting for. Thank you again for all your support!!!

Hi Heather, I am your sister Lori's Cousin through Nathan. I live in Ogden. Lori sent our whole family an email about your situation. I just wanted to let you know that we are all praying for your Family and for your sweet little Talon. We pray that he will be brought home again!

Heather and Clint,
Your story was close to home for us. Our first son was born in 2001 just like yours, after years of infertility (IUI, Invitro) we went down the adoption path over a year and after a few months with LDS Family Services, we went with Heart and Soul and our son was born in August.

If I could help you financially I would in a second, but we all know how expensive the adoption is. I can help you emotionally though and will and have spread the word for you guys.

Having lost my first son to a heart condition, I do somewhat know your pain, and I am sorry beyond words. If you ever need someone, I am here.

Love,
Karen

I posted earlier about how I coped after we returned our 13 month old to her grandmother (and tribe) due to similar (yet very different) issues. In that post I advised you how my son's grief has been so hard to watch these last two years. What I didn't realize then is that your son's name is Kade. My son's name is Caden. The similiarity made me smile and wince simultaniously. I will be sending an extra prayer out for your son tonight as this time of grief, confusion and loss can be so overwhelming and scary. Hugs and prayers to you all.

I hope and pray that the tribe will feel in their hearts the love that you have for Talon, and that they will realize where he belongs is with his parents.

I also pray that Talon is protected and is healthy and safe until he's back where he belongs.

Thanks so much for keeping us all posted. You're all in my thoughts.

The judge who ruled on your case (Lindberg) also sentenced Mark Hacking to only six years in prison. She is facing major scrutiny in the state (http://firejudgelindberg.com) & there is an outstanding federal complaint against her. I don't know if this makes a difference to your case, but I am horrified that the fate of your beautiful son was determined by someone so totally bankrupt.
