I heard about your story from my mom and I have spent that last hour or so reading about it. I am SO sorry for your loss. I have an 8 month old son and I can't even fathom the pain you and your cute family must be going through. At the same time, as a mother I can't see how a woman would not want what is best for her child. Clearly, you love him so much, I'm sure she knows that. I hope she will realize that when all is said and done-giving Talon back is what would be best for him.

Your story reminds me of the movie "Losing Isaiah" That mother also fought for her child back and pulled the whole race thing to help her win him back but in the end she saw that he would be better off with the family that could give him more and she let him go back to the adoptive family. I hope this will be the case with you. If Natasha really loves Talon, which I am sure she does, I hope she will see that. I also hope that she will see that adoption is not the end. Maybe, some years down the road, Talon and her could have a relationship and I am sure he would thank her if she chose to give him back to his family who has loved and cared for him since birth.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family! And also for Natasha, I hope she will make the right choice.

Oops, that last comment was from me. I was signed in under my mom's name.

I just found your blog and wanted to tell you that my heart is breaking for you and your family. I have a 2 year old daughter whom I adopted and this is absolutely my worst nightmare. I wish you the best with your continued efforts to get little Talon back. We will be praying for you, God bless.
